Body

1. Sc 6 in mr (6)

2. *Inc around* (12)

3. *Sc, Inc* (18)

4. *2 Sc, Inc* (24)

5. *3 Sc, Inc* (30)

6. *4 Sc, Inc* (36)

7-11. *Sc around*

12. *4sc, Dec* (30)

13. *3sc, Dec* (24)

14. *2sc, Dec* (18)

FO leaving long tail close the hole and leave the tail for stitching on the tentickles

Tentickles

1. 8 sc in mr 

2. *Ch 20 {or more of less depenss on how long you want the legs} 

2 or 3 sc in each ch down

Sc in next sc*

repeat ** till you have 8 legs

Fo weaving in ends

*Using the tail from the body stitch the legs onto it.*

Eyes
(B is black, E is eye color, W is white)
1. B 4sc in mr
2. 2 Inc, change to E (do not cut B) 2 Inc
3. Change to B, 4 slp stch, change to W, sc 4
Finish off
You may add white dots to give it eye shine look or leave it do whatever you want!

☆You could also use saftey eyes but please keep in mind people say not to give toys made with saftey eyes to kids under 3☆

Hats

Beanie

1. Sc 6 in mr (6)

2. *Inc around* (12)

3. *Sc, Inc* (18)

4. *2 Sc, Inc* (24)

(Have the last row a different color, or you could do stripes)

Then make a little pompom to put on top (optional of coarse)

Tam

(Note slip stitch to first stich and ch 2 after each row)

 Fo weaving in ends

For the little knot like button thingy on top i did this but did a lot more wraps

*Myself for each hat (for the tam for sure) i took a hotglue gun and dabbed some glue in the middle of the hat then placed it onto my octo holdijg it till the glue sets*

But you could stitch it on if you don't have or dont want to glue it on!

Making the Octo with chunky yarn! (Used 5mm hook)

(Why is this part of the pattern because the first one i made was with chunky yarn hats will fit because it should be the same size)

Legs

2. *ch 10, 2 sc in each ch down* sc in sc at bottom, rep ** till you got 8 legs

Stitch it all together just like the one above. Eyes and hats should all fit this one as well (because as i said i made that one to be the same size as this one)

Other fun things you can do

-Make it a monicle

-Make it a mustache

- Make it another style hat (i plan to!)
