Navi Fairy Bookmark (legend of zelda)

Materials Needed
small amount of white and whatever you want the body color to be
yarn needle
crochet hook
bead (optional)

1- 6 sc in magic ring
2- inc around
change to white or whatever color you are doing the wings
3- ch 6, sc into the second ch from hook, hdc in next 4, slip stitch to body
4- repeat 3 making another wing
*If you wanted to you could put another set of wings on the other side and make it look like it is facing you I just did it as a side view because it was easier.*
Now you can add your body color or whatever color you like onto it under the wing a little bit. Then you can chain as much as you want to get to the length you want. You can add a bead at the end of make tassel for it whatever you want to do.
Heres a site that can show you how to do a tassel on a bookmark just look under the pattern.

Mine I did as Navi but you can do it what ever color you want here are some ideas

And repeat on the orange

Now Putting it Together
-First you sew on all the spikes in the right place I have a reference picture at bottom
-Then you can sew the face piece on having the pointy part at the bottom
-Now you can stitch the eye pieces on having that pointed part pointing to the outside
-Hot glue the eyes into place
-Now you can place the detailing on the orange piece at the top and then after you have it on you can do the black lines that are on it and green one goes by the green spike.
-You can stitch on orange triangles now if you want to
-I used fabric paint to make the nose hole dots and mouth hole dots
-I was going to do the white detailing on mine but it did not look very nice to me but you could try that if you want to

Skull Winter Mask

Front of Mask
Size: To fit an average sized adult’s Head

 Materials:
• 5mm hook
• Stitch markers
• 1 skein worsted weight yarn in colors:
black, white

Abbreviations/Special stitches:
Ch- chain
SS- slip stitch
Sc- single crochet
Dc- double crochet
IncDc- 2 double crochet in one stitch
ST(S)- stitches
PM- place marker
Colors are assigned as follows:
• Color A- white
• Color B- black

The mask is started from the top of the head and increases are worked over the crown.

Round 1- With color A work 16 Dc into magic ring or
Ch4 slip stitch to work in the round. Ch3(this counts as a Dc) and 15 Dc into ring, or
Start any way you like to just make sure you have 16DC
Round 2 - 2Dc into first dc or ch3, place  marker to establish beginning of your round. *1Dc, 1IncDc* ; repeat 7 times.(23)
Round 3- *1Dc, 1IncDc* ; repeat 10 times ending with 1 Dc at last st. (34)
Round 3-  1Dc into next st, *1 IncDc, 1Dc in next 2 sts*; repeat 10 times (45)
Round 4- 1Dc into next st, *1IncDc, 1Dc into next 2 stitchs*; repeat 14 times(60)
Rounds 5 - 11: Dc in each around.
Round 12- PM, *1Sc into each of next 7 sts, PM, (this marks the first eye hole), 1Dc into each of next 4 sts, PM, 1Sc into each of next 7 sts, PM. Work remainder of round in DC.
Round 13- Ch3, turn work; work evenly across back of hat to marker.
Round 14- Ch3, turn work; work evenly across back of hat back to the other marker.
Leave this row for now and join a new piece of yarn to work the space between the eyes. Join a new piece of yarn at the top of the first dc (of four) and Ch 3; 1Dc into each of next 3 sts; cut yarn.
Round 15- Return to the live row and Ch7, 1Dc into top of ch3 (between the eyes) 1Dc into each of next 3 sts, Ch7. 1Dc into top of next ch3, *1Dc into next st*; repeat from * to marker at first eye hole. Work 1Dc in each ch across (7 sts), 1Dc into next 4 sts, 1Dc in each ch across (7 sts). 1Dc into top of ch3, 1Dc in each of next 10 sts, 1SC into each of next 6 sts, 1SS, cut yarn.

(I have an alternative way written at the end to do this in rounds instead of doing it rows if you do not want this look it kind of looks like a wrestler mask the way it is)

From this point on, the rest of the mask will be worked flat, back and forth and no longer in the round. Fold piece in half, making sure to line the eyeholes together. Establish the very center of the stitches at back of the mask. There should be 6. Count three on either side, and PM at each end; DO NOT WORK OVER THESE 6 STS. Join color B in the very next stitch.

Row 16- Ch3,(this is always considered a Dc) 1Dc in each of next 9 sts  (10 sts in black total). Switch to color A and work 1Dc into each of next 32 sts across. Switch back to color B and work 1Dc into each of next 10 sts.
Row 17- Ch3, turn. Work the same as previous row.
Row 18- Ch3, turn. 1Dc in each of next 10 sts across. Switch to color A and work 1Dc into each of next 30 sts across. Switch back to color B and work 1Dc into each of next 11 sts.
Row 19- Ch3, turn. 1Dc in each of next 11 sts across. Switch to color A and work 1Dc into each of next 28 sts across. Switch back to color B and work 1Dc into each of next 12 sts.
Row 20- Ch3, turn. 1Dc in each of next 12 sts across. Switch to color A and work 1Dc into each of next 26 sts across. Switch back to color B and work 1Dc into each of next 13 sts.
Row 21- Ch3, turn. 1Dc in each of next 13 sts across. Switch to color A and work 1DC into each of next 24 sts across. Switch back to color B and work 1DC into each of next 14 sts.
Row 22- Ch3, turn. 1Dc in each of next 14 sts across. Switch to color A and work *1Dc into each of next 2 sts, skip 1 st, 1Dc into each of next 3 sts, skip 1, 1DC into next 2 sts, skip 1 (2 times), 1Dc into each of next 3 sts, skip 1, 1Dc in each of next 2 sts. Switch back to color B and work 1Dc into each of next 15 sts.
Row 23- Ch3, turn. Work an even row of Dc across. (you can repeat this until it reaches the desired length)

Alternative
Fold piece in half, making sure to line the eye-holes together. Establish the very center of the stitches at back of the mask. There should be 6. Count three on either side, join color B in the very next stitch. (I may not have worded this right it is saying do the same thing as before but you will be working into the 6 sc you would not do with the other way)

Round 15- Ch3, 1Dc in each of next 9 sts  (10 sts in black total). Switch to color A and work 1Dc into each of next 32 sts across. Switch back to color B and work 1Dc into each of next 16 sts.
Round 16-  1Dc in next 10sts. Switch to color A 1Dc into next 32 sts. Switch back to color B and 1Dc into next 16 sts
Round 18- 1Dc in each of next 11 sts across.  Switch to color A and work 1Dc into each of next 30 sts across. Switch back to color B and work 1Dc into each of next 17 sts.
Round 19- 1Dc in each of next 12 sts across. Switch to color A and work 1Dc into each of next 28 sts across. Switch back to color B and work 1Dc into each of next 18 sts.
Round 20- 1Dc in each of next 13 sts across. Switch to color A and work 1Dc into each of next 26 sts across. Switch back to color B and work 1Dc into each of next 19 sts.
Round 21-  1Dc in each of next 14 sts across. Switch to color A and work 1DC into each of next 24 sts across. Switch back to color B and work 1DC into each of next 20 sts.
Round 22- 1Dc in each of next 15 sts across.
Round 23- Dc around.(In Black) Repeat until it is the desired length

Spinal Column(not needed if you did the Alternative way)
Back of Mask
Row 1: Join  at the bottom corner of one of the flap openings in the back of the neck of the mask. CH1, and 1SC along the edge around the post of each dc stitch. (10 sts)
(diagram here)
When you reach the top at the white part of yarn (bottom of skull), skip the first st, 1SC into the next st, skip 1, 1SC into each of next 2 sts, skip 1, and continue down the other edge for 11 sts.
Row 2: CH1 turn; 1 SC in each of next 9 sts, skip 1, 1SC in each of next 11 sts; tie off and weave in the end.
Before continuing on to embellish the mask, with color B, join a new piece of yarn to one end along the very bottom of the mask and work 1SC evenly into the top of each st to the end; tie off and weave in the end.

Draw String
CH76 sts, 1SC into second ch from hook; work 1SC in each chain to end, weave in end. Starting at the top of the column (at the bottom of the skull) lace the draw string through the top of every other sc as if to thread shoe string.
Or you can use an shoe lace that is what I used

Mouth
I single crochet a line until i had gotten the length I wanted to have the vertical line, I did a ch 4 for the teeth. Then I just stitched it onto the place I wanted it.

Cog Tags

Cog Tag

Materials:
Grey Yarn
Crochet hook (I used H)
Yarn Needle

Stitches Used:
Chain
Single Crochet
Slip Stitch

Cog A:
Rnd 1: Chain 7 slip stitch together
Rnd 2: Single crochet into the circle until you get around slip stitch to first sc.
Rnd 3: Sc 2, ch 1 turn sc 2, ch 1 turn sc 2, work down side of it *sc 1, ch 1, sc 1 chain 1 turn sc 2(1 in sc one in ch), ch 1 turn sc 2 work down side* repeat till you are around.

Sorry about Rnd 3 being so confusing I made this before I went to sleep so I was tired and I do not remember how I did it. I used this cog as a reference to make it Here

Cog B:
Made relatively the same the same at the start put you chain 3 and work down the chain slip stitch to middle and work around
Link

Necklace:
Chain until you can fit it around your head nicely and then slip stitch it together then you can stitch it more together further and maybe knot the 2 yarn pieces together and cut them.

Putting Together:
You could just make a circle to put the gear on by chaining around 10 and having it on there and stitch it together. Or you could just have it on the Necklace without the round piece on it.

Penguin Case

Meow it so cute I found this while looking for a penguin pillow I found this I was hey I could make that... maybe. So it on my secondary computer.... then it fudged up I then lost all my scrap-booked info. So then I tried to find it again a few months later I looked and looked and could not find it I looked up case in general, case for E-reader, and case for tablet I could not find it... I almost gave up then I remembered that I was looking for the pillow. I found it and was surprised when I found out the pattern was for a net-book, I made it for my mothers tablet. You could make this for anything an E-reader, cellphone, or tablet.

Penguin Case

Minion

My Minions I made three of these and they were the adorable and people loved them. I used this minion pattern as base, I changed it up a bit I made one with a fake pocket. I also made the one with removable goggles   it was easy to do. I am at one point going to make the Frenchie maid minion.

Strawberry Drawstring bag

This is a cute little strawberry bag Mine is a lot smaller than the pattern said because I used some cheap thin yarn to make it.Click this link to go to the pattern of ravelry Pattern.

I have not made this yet but I found another cute strawberry pattern. It is for a bookmark. P.s it is in polish and English.

Yoshi

I had finished yoshi parts a while ago but I was being lazy and did not really want to put them together. It took me a bit but eventually I put it together I was listening to the hobbit audio book ha man it was weird. I changed the pattern a little but by making the arms movable it was a little bit difficult to work with because I have never done anything like this before. I ended up using a buttons to make the movable arms.

Link to button joints how to

The arms I had to decrease one more time and shut it. The shoes kind of ended up looking a little but weird but I think that I made them wrong.

Cat Ears

As you may have noticed I love cats they are my favorite animal. I was thinking I would love to make myself ears. So I looked around online for a pattern so I made myself some. I purchased some cheap headbands from my local dollar-store. Then I made them the pattern said to use this fluffy yarn but i just used worsted weight yarn. It was really easy to make I just made a chain that was the same length as the headband, then I did as many rows as I needed for the band. I then slip stitched it together now this was the hard part I had to but it inside out so I used a safety pin pinned to one side and pulled it though it. Then I made the ears and sewed them on then I used pink to make inner ear part.

Kitty Mug cozy

I know that it has no eyes it is kind of creepy actually. This was really simple to make all you need black yarn some white yarn and some pink fabric or pink yarn to make the ears and nose if you do not have fabric. And you need buttons for the eyes, mine which I do not know were mine are . . . It is still really cute.

Fingerless Gloves

I made these for fun thought they would be nice I used a different type of yarn then what they asked for it was a pattern for angora medium weight yarn. But the only yarn I use is stuff I get from thrift stores and other people. I added buttons to it instead of the flower the pattern had I knew that it would not look good with the yarn I was using. This pattern was simple with just double crochets. I found another pattern that I thought was nicer it is a free book on amazon called "Crochet Patterns for every Season: 17 DIY accessory and clothing patterns"

Book this pattern was in -
1-2-3 Skein Crochet

Oven Mitts

I made these for my mom for mothers day they took me a little time to make but they work nicely. All you need to do is single crochet.

Kitty

I watched a video to make this kitty but I am linking you to ravelry for a written pattern. I did not understand patterns for the longest time so I watched videos. Did you know that there is basically no left handed videos to crochet out there the video for this was right handed. You can find it on you-tube if you want it.

Puppy

I made this when I was visiting my family at the colony. When we visit there I never have anything to do so I figured that I would bring a project along with me. I changed it a bit by adding bottom legs to him because the pattern had none. I found this pattern in the crocheting for dummies book 2nd edition. But I figured I give you some links to other doggy patterns that are cute to.

Olaf

Olaf
The eyes are really creepy aren't they, I am not good at the eyes. I think the pattern had beads on white felt. I also used brown pipe cleaners for my arms instead of crocheting my arms. If the eyes were not so scary it would look kind of cute. He also has not eyebrows I completely forgot them.

Peaked Hat

Peaked Hat
This was my first big project it took me a week and a half because I was being lazy I would work on it for a bit then I would stop then again do a bit then stop. I need to work on my gauge a bit, mine fit nicely but I made one for my grandma and I had done my single crochets on the bottom a little to tightly. I think I will just stick to Amigurumi.

Crochet Potted cactus

This was my first crochet project it did not turn out that well put when I look at it now I know that I had not done my single crochets tight enough. Its still kind of cute though and if I made one now it would look better.

It is about 55 minutes long and there is a little stop motion thing she made at the start of the video it is kind of cute.
Hello, I just started to crochet a few months ago, for some reason I wished that I could share the patterns that I found on-line free in one place.
